The Houston Texans released wide receiver Diontae Johnson (28) ahead of the team's AFC Divisional round playoff matchup against the Kansas City Chiefs, according to multiple sources.

It was reported by multiple insiders that there was a locker room incident with Johnson and other Texans members following the team's Wild Card win over the Los Angeles Chargers on Saturday.

Johnson has spent the season on four separate teams now (Pittsburgh Steelers, Carolina Panthers, Baltimore Ravens, and Texans). Before being released by the Texans, Johnson was also suspended from team activities and later released by the Baltimore Ravens after 'conduct detrimental to the team'.

The actions came after Johnson refused to play for the Ravens in the middle of the game and now his attitude has him as a free agent yet again. He officially has just one more catch (4) than teams he's been on (3) since Week 8 of the regular season.

In a weird turn of events, Johnson is technically eligible for a Super Bowl ring if the Ravens or Texans win the Lombardi trophy.
