Cleveland Browns head coach Kevin Stefanski (42) said on Thursday during a press conference that he will be calling the plays for the offence next season.

The Browns fired former offensive coordinator Ken Dorsey (43) and offensive line coach Andy Dickerson (42) earlier this month following the team's 3-14 year. The team promoted Tommy Rees (32) to offensive coordinator less than a week later.

Stefanski took over as the team's play-caller after starting the season off 1-6.

"I'm going to call plays, and I reserve the right to change my mind," said Stefanski. "(As for Tommy), he has an incredible football mind. He is extremely bright and has been around the game his entire life."

Stefanski is a two-time Coach of the Year (2020, 2023) and has spent the past five seasons as the Browns head coach with a combined 40-44 record.

The Browns finished the season with a 3-14 record and the 28th ranked offence. They had the worst scoring offence in the league averaging 15.2 points per game, the lowest for the team since 2017 (14.6), and the least points scored with 258, also the lowest since 2017 (234).

Cleveland was tied with the Tennessee Titans for the most turnovers (34) this season. They led the league in interceptions (23) and were fourth in fumbles lost (11).
